JANUARY 30, 2024 – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Today, Streamline Studios (Streamline), a global creative and technology company for video games and beyond, announces the on-boarding of video game maestro, Rui Kawada, as the Director of Streamline Studios Japan to spearhead the development of new business opportunities in Japan that will position Streamline at the forefront of innovation.
Rui Kawada is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the video games industry. Rui has served multiple roles at several international companies which include helping Japanese companies expand in the Western market at Nintendo of Europe, working on FINAL FANTASY XV at SQUARE ENIX, and more recently, she was at Google, helping Japanese mobile game developers grow their businesses within the Android ecosystem. At Streamline, Rui Kawada will work closely with the Head of Japan, Kenji Kajiwara, to further strengthen our cooperation with Japanese game companies as well as develop new business opportunities and new relationships within the region.
